Coaching with me deepens as our relationship grows and trust is built. I will take my time listening to you, being curious about you, asking questions to understand you, and reflecting back what I am hearing to affirm you. I believe we each hold the inner wisdom to address the challenges we are faced with. I will support you with surfacing that inner knowing, as well as creating containers and pathways to the growth and transformation you seek.
My philosophy is grounded in the importance of deeply exploring and continuously reflecting on my own inner workings, or my “shadows and light,” as Parker Palmer might call it. For much of the last twenty years, I have been on a journey of self-interrogation, both personally and professionally, individually and in community. Throughout this journey, I have unraveled these “shadows” of old patterns and habits that no longer serve me, only to discover that I (with the support of my own coach) hold all the wisdom needed to transform my life. I believe deeply that, that wisdom and inner knowing is within each of us waiting to be drawn out and cultivated. From this transformative (and often uncomfortable) space, I have found my “light,” developing a solid understanding of what it means to be self-reflective and committed to personal growth. I am transparent with with the lessons I have learned along the way, and will show up with vulnerability and critical humility. My life experiences have led me to coaching clients in following areas: healing grief and loss; disrupting unconscious beliefs and mindsets; family dynamics: relating and communicating; managing stress, anxiety, and uncertainty; executive functioning skills (breaking large goals/tasks into small actionable steps); finding inner peace and calm.
